This will be a safe space where people come together to address culture stigma around mental health, facilitated by culturally knowledgeable mental health professionals. We can work together to ease the anxiety and stress via open dialogue, break the silence, identify and manage complex emotions, including pressure from self and family expectations.

Dr. Vuong is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Kansas and Missouri, currently practicing in Kansas City. She received her Doctorate from the Clinical Child Psychology Program at the University of Kansas in 2008, and completed her Internship Residency with the Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology at Boston Medical Center and Boston University. She is also a certified Reiki Master. In her down time, she enjoys metalsmithing, cooking, gardening, playing music, and traveling with her husband and 3 children.

Creative Inner Connection is a holistic approach to therapy, integrating many of the latest empirically supported treatments into a broader understanding of mental health and well-being. We believe that each of us is equipped with the inherent power to heal and it is our mission to help people connect to this inner source to create lasting, meaningful change.
